Anna’s skincare tips for busy women

While there’s nothing Tim and I like more than a good lie-in on the weekend, not every morning of ours is as picture-perfect as the films we created! Midweek, when I need to be out the door quick-smart, I’ve managed to hone my skincare routine down to a fine art, so I can cleanse, tone, nourish and protect in under 10 minutes. #girlboss #sheready

I’ve found that the secret to creating a speedy skincare routine is to choose products that perform a number of tasks – yes, my favourite skincare items are natural-born multitaskers. Add these natural and organic skincare products to your bathroom cabinet for a fuss-free beauty regime that is fast and fabulous.

Step 1: Cleanse and tone in one

We all know how important it is to cleanse and tone your skin, but for those mornings when I’m in a rush, I let my trusty micellar pure cleansing water perform both roles. With soothing white tea, cucumber and vitamin E, this natural cleanser is gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin, plus the witch hazel and geranium have purifying properties, so they naturally tone and rebalance my complexion. The micellar water is also a time-saver at the end of the day when it comes to removing my makeup. All I need to do is add a few drops to a cotton pad, then wipe over my face to remove the day’s grime – there’s no need to rinse.

Step 2: Nourish the skin, reduce irritation and inflammation, and fight fine lines and wrinkles

What if I told you that one all-natural product could do all of the above… and more. Well, my secret to naturally beautiful skin is a little bottle that packs a big punch: wild harvested organic rosehip oil. This miracle oil performs the task of countless other expensive lotions and potions. It hydrates my skin, helps prevent blemishes and breakouts, tightens the pores, and regulates my skin’s natural oil production. Not only that, this antioxidant-rich oil also reduces the appearances of fine lines, wrinkles and scars. All you need to do is apply a few drops to freshly cleansed skin, morning and night. And don’t let the fact that it’s an oil put you off: it absorbs straight away, so you can go ahead and apply coverage straight over the top.

Step 3: Moisturise, protect and provide sheer coverage

Sure, I could layer up with a separate moisturiser, sunscreen and foundation, but when I’m in a rush in the mornings, I’d much rather reach for just one handy tube. This multi effect tinted moisturiser delivers a triple whammy of moisturising hydration, sun protection and a light foundation, which delivers sheer coverage and a natural glow year round. I keep a tube in the bathroom for my morning routine, plus one in my bag for top-ups after a swim or a run.
